Bad Piggies, as it’s cleverly known, will be released on the 27th of September on iOS, Android and Mac, with other versions to follow.
The developers promise all-new mechanics in place of the massively popular slingshot used in Angry Birds, although it’s not clear yet what that new device will be.
“There’s a lot of empathy towards the lovable enemies from the Angry Birds games, and we’ve been constantly asked: what about the pigs’ side of the story?” said Rovio’s CEO Mikael Hed.
“Bad Piggies gives you the chance to play as the second-most-loved characters in the Angry Birds universe, and explore this rich world through their green eyes.”

I don’t really understand this – If you are supposed to play from the pigs point of view, do you just sit there & wait for the platform you are sitting on to just crumble underneath you??

I’m thinking this could be some sort of building game where you build a sturdy construction to tackle the incoming pissed-off avians.

my guess would be you get set amount of certain items in each level, like you might get a few upright pieces and a few beams, or any of the other pieces featured in the game, and you have to build a structure to protect your pigs, and once that’s done you wait for the Angry Birds attacks.
keep more pigs alive for a higher score.
and maybe bonuses for having pieces left over.
and later on there will probably be dynamite stashes you have to protect as well so they don’t get hit and blow, possibly losing the level for you, in the same way it could win a level in Angry Birds.
