The Last Guardian Missing From Sony’s TGS Line-Up

Team Ico’s The Last Guardian is currently missing from Sony’s Tokyo Game Show line-up, posted by AndriaSang.

Whilst this might initially sound like bad news, the list is currently incomplete (with more to be added – potentially – in a day or so) and also is purely for games that’ll be playable on the show floor.

It’s entirely possible (although, let’s face it, unlikely) that The Last Guardian will appear at the show outside this capacity.

  1. This is no shocker tbh.

I love the vita line up some new unheard of games. Also yakuza 1 & 2 HD I look forward to playing it

  2. Yay, Phantasy Star Online 2 will be featured!

  3. I hope at least some of those J-Vita titles make the trip around the world to the EU. There seems to be a lot more Vita games coming out over there than here and we want some love! Especially Atelier Totori Plus. Do want.

    • YS is bound too, its a nice series. Plenty on PSP already on the store and of course the RPGS.

  4. Played hours of PS:O2 and now I’m finding it a bit dull thanks for the next Client Order being locked to lvl 30. The Exp rates are just awful for me. Like the idea of a Vita version but I really doubt if the online portion will be lively so I guess we’ll see how that goes. Probably not worth the effort if there’s no Japanese on the same servers < that alone will kill the game.

All the rest are… well text and the western ones are already known so they need screenshots n trailers n stuff. Ys Celceta Sea of Trees… though omg.

    • Well, it’s free to play after all so it might be worth a download.

  5. w00t. Yakuza 5, Yakuza 1 & 2 HD and new Hot Shots Golf. Oooh I’m all intrigued now. Sadly the only title on there that made me do a meh was Metal Gear Rising. Really not looking forward to that as I suspect it will be incredibly disappointing.

  6. Oh YAWN he weekly ‘The Last Guardian isn’t/is coming out’ post :-D Cool PS3 list anyway :-P

    • ‘The weekly’ i meant :-D

    • That’s odd as i thought this article was about Sony’s TGS lineup and TLG missing bit is just an observation.

  7. I’m not surprised TLG is not on the list as they are probably still fighting with the PS3 in order to get it to run their preview code. Can see them going “feck it, we’re releasing it on PS4”. Isn’t the PSP a dead platform? If so then it makes no sense to rerelease FF3 on it(i thought it was already out on it).

  8. Fate/Stay Night [Realta Nua] …intriguing… Realta nua is the irish for new star… anyone know if there’s an irish connection to this game? Or is it one of those Japanese-‘Celtic’ storylines.. :/

Hopefully there’s still room for a surprise announcement on TLG’s progress.

  9. Isn’t hotshots golf 6 just a port of the vita game?
