Walking Dead Episode 3 Hits EU PSN

European PSN owners rejoice, the third episode of The Walking Dead has just landed on the European PSN Store, after a period of silence from the official Blog managers and authors.

The third episode, which has suffered delays in Europe on the PS3 like the previous one did, was also absent from this week’s Store Update, but to the annoyance of PlayStation fans (and Telltale, apparently).

Still, it’s up now, or will be very shortly. It’s encouraging to see that the Store can be updated outside the normal Wednesday routine, as it was yesterday with Machinarium.

There’s still no communication from SCEE to let us know why the delays are happening, which is probably a greater issue that the odd bit of keenly-awaited content requiring some extra patience. Without a bit more transparency, customers will still feel disenfranchised, even when their content is pushed out on the Store.

Will the delays keep happening? We don’t know. Can we expect Counter-Strike: Global Offensive soon, now they’re catching up their backlog? We’ve no idea. Dyad? Auditorium HD? Nope, not a clue.

  1. Ive just been trying to remember what happened in the firs two. Think I’ve pretty much remembered all my decisions, looking forward to three!

  2. Gotta say I am glad this is now up.

For the 2nd episode they said they rewrote some of the story based on people’s choices, but at the end of episode 1 the ‘preview’ of ep2 bared almost no resemblance to what happened in the finally released version, anyone else notice that? Will the same happen in 3?

  3. They’re getting quicker! lol

  4. I just completed ep 3, man it had bugs. I had to turn on the subtitles cos the audio was poor, Crashed a couple of times, bared no ressemblance to any of my previous saves, 2 of which are now missing anyway, Doug was invisible for long portions.

Pretty poor show considering the delays we have already faced
