PlayStation Plus Comes To Vita In November – Includes Trophy Syncing

Sony have announced that PlayStation Plus will be coming to PlayStation Vita in November.

The service, which sees lots of free games and early access to demos and beta granted for a minimal monthly (or annual) fee, will be rolling out to Vita (it’s currently only really available on PS3) for no extra charge – if you’re a subscriber, it’s automatically on Vita too.

Details on what the Vita version will include are:

  • Instant Game Collection: Unlimited access to a regularly refreshed selection of the full versions of games as long as your membership is active.
  • Discounts: Take advantage of exclusive discounts on games and DLC for your PS Vita.
  • Online Game Storage: An additional 1GB of online storage for game saves for PS Vita games and downloaded content.
  • Automatic Updates: PS Vita will automatically start up at a designated time to download and install select game demos and game updates as well as system software updates and start standby mode upon completion.
  • Automatic Trophy sync: Trophy information will be synched to PSN servers automatically via the PS Vita.

  1. This was my reason for not renewing my PS+ sub, now there is support for Vita I’ll have to re think.

    Also question I have 2 memory cards for the vita right & they both use same I.D account but I want use one for dragonball saga, do I need to format my vita to use the other memory card

  3. I wonder if it’ll start showing on the XMB which game a Vita player is actually playing realtime like it does with PS3 games. At the moment you can just see them online being ignorant lol :P

    I think I’ve bought a bit too many Vita games though. Let’s just say the Vita Instant Games Collection is probably going to be a disappointment to me.

  6. Did i read that right, its going to be included with your existing PS3+ subscription. That really is good value, i was sure this would be a seperate subscription from the PS3 version of plus

  7. So glad I bought the PS+ this week while its been on sale. ITS THE LAST DAY TO GET IT FOR £29.99 PEOPLE. Its definitely worth it!
