Sony has the August PlayStation Plus games, and they are rather better than last month’s lacklustre affair. That said, only one of these is solely for PS5, so Sony seems to be walking back a bit on their decision to focus only on PS5 titles.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition (PS5, PS4)
Dying Light 2 may be getting on a bit, it was launched in 2022, but it’s fairly good and has had loads of patches since our 7/10 review. The Reloaded Edition includes the Firearms Update, plus the Bloody Ties DLC.
Big Walk (PS5)
A rare day-one title launching on PS Plus, Big Walk is a cooperative multiplayer adventure about teamwork and talking. It’s made by the team behind Untitled Goose Game, House House. We’ve just got the codes for this, so expect a review around the time it launches.
Signalis (PS4)
Another game from 2022, Signalis, which we gave 8/10 in our review. “Discover terrifying secrets, challenging puzzles, and nightmarish creatures in a tense and melancholic experience of cosmic dread and classic psychological survival horror.”
Also from August 6, PlayStation Plus subscribers can claim a MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls PlayStation Plus Pack which includes the following:
- Five Avatars inspired by characters from MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, featuring Captain America, Storm, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, and Ghost Rider.
- A set of in-game Result Screen Character Poses featuring 20 characters, including Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord, Peni Parker and more.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, Big Walk and Signalis will all be available to PlayStation Plus members from Tuesday August 4 until Monday August 31.
