Gearbox (or possibly someone else, hurr hurr) put a lovely little Easter Egg in Aliens: Colonial Marines, a small hat and cane which is a nod to the Alien parody in Spaceballs in which a newly born Alien does a little dance. Looks like they need not have bothered, as this buggy segment shows.
Patch Snatch: Assassin’s Creed 3 has been updated ahead of the next batch of DLC. Most of the fixes are for the multiplayer portion of the game.

We take a break from frippery and silly videos to bring you news of Depression Quest. The game is described as ‘interactive non-fiction about living with depression’ and hopes to raise understanding and awareness in those who are fortunate enough not to be troubled.
“You are given a series of everyday life events and have to attempt to manage your illness, relationships, job, and possible treatment. This game aims to show other sufferers of depression that they are not alone in their feelings, and to illustrate to people who may not understand the illness the depths of what it can do to people.”
You can play for free or make a donation to iFred, a charity that aims to fight back against depression and the stigma against it.

Back to the silliness with news of the latest game to have zombies crowbarred into it for no apparent reason other than developers have no imagination. Rebellion have announced Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army. It’s Sniper Elite with zombies, in case you couldn’t guess.
Capcom have released a new video for Resident Evil: Revelations HD which the eagle eyed reader may have spotted I have not posted, if you want to see it then check out Trailer Park later today.
I was at Capcom HQ yesterday and spent some time with the game and normally I would write up a preview but my mother always told me if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.
However, not writing about the game would do you, dear readers, a disservice, so I’m hiding my preview of Resident Evil: Revelations HD in News Snatch where, hopefully, Capcom won’t see it.

Epic Games have recently paused production on the sequel, Infinity Blade: Dungeons whilst they “figure out the future of the project”.

The breast jiggling looks quite accurate to be fair (in the sense of movement) although how hilariously pronounced it’ll be when they’re bounding around is yet to be seen. That’s when it looks terrible (usually) and like it’s been coded by a teenage boy who’s just found out his tinkie does more than pee-pee.

As for the boob jiggeling, I just say wow … I wrote in my joke answer for a couple of days ago on this site that boob jiggeling would be a feature of the new patch. So guess my surprise when I saw the video, it is actually in it. Later I fired up the game to try it out and I can confirm that it DOES work. But a similar feature also worked on the female cast of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.
Now this is nice to have, but the games strength remain it stunning visuals and fighting system. It helps that there is some eye-candy as well.

it should have been obvious gearbox, or whoever, weren’t going to turn in a quality Aliens game when they thought turning it into a sausagefest was a good idea.
they did have one female marine, who they made a victim that the manly marines had to save.

if there ever is a sequel to Colonial Marines, not looking likely right now, don’t let a misogynistic outfit like gearbox within a million miles of the project.
get them on something like rambo, even they couldn’t fuck that up.

it may surprise you to learn, i hope not actually, because despite what i think about the studio, they have made good games when they’ve created their own ip.
just don’t put them on somebody else’s ip, because clearly they just don’t care enough about the final product in that case.
