There’s just over 24 hours to wait for Sony’s big announcement in New York. Let’s be honest, they’ve done a remarkable job, this time around, at keeping all their major secrets wrapped up. But it seems like some little titbits of information might just be starting to show themselves.
Our favourite internet investigator, Superannuation, has uncovered a domain registration that points to the future of Gaikai. Most PlayStation fans will be aware that Gaikai is the game streaming service bought by Sony last year. It’s widely speculated that it might appear in some form in Sony’s new console but it appears that we won’t know it as the, slightly tricky-to-pronounce, Gaikai anymore.
There’s still no word on what it actually is but it seems like we might already know what it’s called, at least. Roll on tomorrow night, you’ll be able to see all the action streaming live right here on TSA, with our usual coverage to accompany it.
