Jonathon Blow, creator of Braid, has announced the The Witness, a game he originally said was impossible to make on consoles. The game will be exclusive on consoles to PlayStation 4 in the launch window, which seems to indicate the PC version will be available at the same time and an Xbox 720 version at a later date.
The game finds you on a mysterious island packed full of puzzles to solve, at first they may seem impossible but Jonathon said that the game is based on “epiphanies”, events at which point the solution to the puzzle will become blindingly obvious. “Every puzzle has an idea which is communicated in a non verbal way,” he explained.
“A lot of game pad their playtime so they seem long but in this game we’ve worked very hard to make sure there is no filler,” Blow continued before revealing that the game has at least twenty five hours of gameplay.

Looks like a game I’d hate, and love.

I like the art style, not so sure about the gameplay.
