The first screens for what looks like Thief 4 have appeared this afternoon.
It’s not clear whether this is a game aiming at this or the next generation, but the art style certainly looks like Dishonored to us.
The source, a Russian website called GameMag.ru, mentions something called “Xbox 720” – we’ll let you be the judge of that.
Update: apparently this is Game Informer’s next cover game. They say the game is due in 2014 and is for next-generation consoles and PC. So there.

Some of those don’t look that great, but with there still being about a year left in development, hopefully they can sharpen it up a bit.

I’ll just reiterate my first reaction and the general sentiment here…

Probably next gen or PC based on the lighting, but its got relatively poor textures so looks likely to be a crossover game that’ll feature on current and next gen. It should be noted though that I’m quite critical of most textures.
