Killer is Dead Revealed, First Trailer Released

It looks like Grasshopper Manufacture are back again with that same quirky styling they’re so good at, with Goichi Suda again acting as executive director. This is the reveal trailer.

The game is set in the near future, and stars an executioner called Mondo Zappa who gets jobs from a cyborg who owns a hitman firm. Yeah.

Suda says it’s a “personal story” of “a man who doesn’t show himself much in the public world but still worms his way into society and mercilessly eliminates the evil dispersed in it.”

The game is due out this summer on PS3 and Xbox 360, Deep Silver publishing.

  1. Could be decent. Hopefully the gameplay is good.

  2. That looks batshit crazy!

    Sorry for the profanity.

  3. I think Grasshopper Manufacture are the most Japanese of all the Japanese developers. The combat looks a bit like No More Heroes, and going on the trailer it’ll hit all of the weirdness of their other games.

Looking forward to it – assuming it’s more No More Heroes/Killer 7 than it is Diabolical Pitch…

  4. reminds me of No More Heroes.
i liked that game apart from the motion controls, i just couldn’t get on with them.
though i did like the way when Travis got a call you’d put the wiimote to your ear like a phone hear the call on the wiimote speaker.

maybe i should try the ps3 version one day.

anyway, this looks like it could be fun, mental, but fun.
