Killer is Dead Revealed, First Trailer Released

It looks like Grasshopper Manufacture are back again with that same quirky styling they’re so good at, with Goichi Suda again acting as executive director. This is the reveal trailer.

The game is set in the near future, and stars an executioner called Mondo Zappa who gets jobs from a cyborg who owns a hitman firm. Yeah.

Suda says it’s a “personal story” of “a man who doesn’t show himself much in the public world but still worms his way into society and mercilessly eliminates the evil dispersed in it.”

The game is due out this summer on PS3 and Xbox 360, Deep Silver publishing.

  1. Well that’s… er. yeah.

    That’s something.

  2. That looks completely bonkers.

  3. I really like the art style.

  4. Subtitled text in the YouTube clip:

“You don’t understand anything, do you?” to which I replied with a simple “not a fu**king jot” as I continued to watch one of the most bizarre things of my life.

    What. The. Hell?!

  5. Is there a vita version that’s still undecided. If they make it for vita this would be cool along with borderlands

  6. Gotta love those Japs.

  7. erm I’m wondering if anyone can understand what the feck that was, even the japs?

  8. I do like Grasshopper.

Also: Asura’s Wrath music in the background, surprise Tuffcub didn’t comment!

  9. Well…that looks garbage. I can’t understand how Suda gets away with releasing terrible games and no one calls him out on it. It looks identical to all his recent games. Meaning it will play like arse.

    • Sure they’re not the best but they’re not badly designed? its like moaning about Call of Duty being the same thing every year.

    • Actually Shadows of the Damned was a brilliant game, Lollipop Chainsaw…Not so much

  10. Great visuals, I actually don’t know if I can comment on the rest.
