Skateboarding fans wondering where their ‘boarding fix is on the PlayStation Vita should find some kind of solace in OlliOlli, a beautifully named game heading to the platform later this year.
A British development, from studio Roll7, OlliOlli looks great visually and would appear to be a perfect fit for the Vita. This early video shows the basic mechanics.
These ‘endless runner’ games are pretty popular just now on other platforms (think Temple Run, Canabalt, and so on) and OlliOlli’s cool stylings should help to set it apart in a crowded market.
It’s due out in November.

This skater`s jumping is too damn high!

Looks shit tbh. When you think of the potential a Vita has for a Tony Hawk/Skate game, this is just insulting. I wouldn’t even download this for free.

“Looks great visually”?!!!! Also, it’s called an Ollie.

“looks great visually”… No, I’m sorry, but games on my old Nokia N95 from 2007 looked generations ahead. If they can cover up the blue background and bring solid gameplay, I might be interested.
Unless it’s for Mobile, because then I can’t play it anyway thanks to Sony.

Yeah, looks great! :/
They should bring out an HD – 3D version of 720. SKATE OR DIE!!!!
Even better… an HD – 3D – ‘DD’ version.

Enough of the damn indie games sony, bring us some console type games for the VITA as was promised. Full VITA games releases have been few and far between on the VITA, i did not buy the thing for indie games that my phone can play.

Yeah, they need to attract bigger 3rd party games….

I was always hoping for a THPS HD vita port.

Having played this game, I’m 100% behind it because it rewards skill.
It’s Velocity’s spiritual cousin.
