Quantum Break and Forza Motorsport 5 Announced for Xbox One

Over in the Microsoft tent, the company has shown brief teasers for two new Xbox One-exclusive titles from its internal studios.

Quantum Break is coming from Alan Wake studio Remedy, and whilst the teaser was light on gameplay, it suggested that the game will be about a strange little girl with some kind of premonition-type ability. Introducing the teaser, Microsoft described a heavy linking of story and gameplay, with what sounds like a Heavy Rain-style ability to affect the former with your progress in the latter.

Almost no details, aside from the teaser video, for Forza 5, but the video did feature commentary, suggesting that it may appear in the series for the first time.

Aside from those, the company revealed that it currently has fifteen Xbox One exclusives in development, eight of which are new IPs. Expect to see much more of those at E3 in a few weeks.

  1. The graphics on forza 5 werent all that at all.

  2. Quantum Break looks interesting, but there was no gameplay. They showed like 15 seconds of footage and that could have been CG. It seems they are far away from launching that game.
    The Forza commentator was annoying…

  3. Quantum Break did look good but I’m disappointed to see a total lack of gameplay footage from any game they showcased – unless I’m otherwise mistaken. :-(

They’ve gone for the big hitters which rarely interest me and there was no indication to them pushing for smaller devs and quirkier games. The Puppeteers, the LittleBigPlanets, the Sony push for Indie devs, etc. Not cool, Microsoft. Not cool.
