Techland Announces Dying Light

Techland has announced a new game called Dying Light.

This new first-person survival horror will release on current and next gen consoles, as well as the PC. The core team behind the original Dead Island are working on Dying Light.

Techland owner, Paweł Marchewka, stated “The next-gen technology allows us to create a truly dynamic open world that features a game-changing day-night cycle”.

Players will also be able to engage in Mirror’s Edge styled free running, which will “allow for nearly unrestricted exploration”.

In the game players will have to defend themselves against the infected population, which at night become more aggressive  Players will also need to scavenge for supplies and craft new weaponry.

So, you’re also infected! Interesting. The big difference could be the overall objective(s) as that’ll shape the entire game, no doubt.

    • I’ll be intrigued to see whether the entire game area is as detail rich as those screens suggest. If so, screw the infected, I wanna have a look around!
