July’s PlayStation Plus Games Revealed For Europe

Following on from last month’s bumper pile of titles – including Demon’s Souls, Ico, Shadow Of The Colossus and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning – is July’s PlayStation Plus crop.

July’s games are Battlefield 3, Payday: The Heist and Saints Row: The Third, all PS3. Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus and Unit 13 make up the Vita section. All games will appear on the 3rd of July.

Make sure you grab June’s games before they leave the rotation.

Don’t forget that the main annual trio of games – XCOM Enemy Unknown, LittlebigPlanet Karting and Uncharted 3 – are also available now for download.

  1. Got them all already (the reason why I don’t subscribe), but will be good to get some other BF3 noobs playing. I had a quick go last week, as the Close Quarters DLC was free (E3 promotion) but as I’m only level 1, with a crappy gun, tiny clip and crazy recoil, and everyone I was playing was level 100, with laser guided, heat seeking nukes, it kinda sucked!

  2. The list of great games just keeps coming. At this rate I’m gonna have around 45 games (PS3 & Vita) still to play when I get my PS4…….not exactly a bad situation to be in mind. :)

  3. Just like that leak said. Awesome. Been looking at saints row 3 for agessss.

  4. If you have a disc based save game, will it work for the download version. I remember Burnout didn’t but I think they had limitations on the saves anyway

    • It definitely works – at least for some. My UC3 still worked…

    • I can confirm that I used my disc-based saves on digital versions of XCOM and even vita’s Lumines.

  5. Love it, if there are any Plus fence sitters out there that needed a better reason to sign up then this is it in my opinion.

  6. well… its no assassins creed 2 or halo 3 is it! =P

  7. I’ve never had plus so I have a question…if I download one of these titles in the monthly deal, can I play it constantly as long as it remains on my hdd?? Even after the monthly deal changes?

Might sound like a silly question but without having a 100% understanding of plus I don’t want to just assume I know how it works.

    • you purchase the game for free and as long as you keep your psplus subscription its your to play, even if you unistall it off your HDD and its no longer part of the deal, you can still go and grab it off your download list

    • I’m pretty sure you keep the games until you stop paying your subscription.
So yes, you will be able to play these games after the monthly rotation provided you’re still paying. I think of it as a long term rental, and haven’t really been sold on the idea so far.

      • Beaten to it by hsuk!

      • Cheers. I’ve not purchased Plus yet either…but seen as i’ll need it for the PS4 in order to play online I thought i’d start looking into it. See what all the fuss is about!

      • There are certain games that you can still play after your sub runs out…..not all games mind, but some of my Plus games don’t expire (so to speak). ;)

      • No you lose all access to games once your subscription runs out.

The only games you can still access are those that you bought with a ps+ discount.

  8. Poo, I just bought BF3 on the 360 as they had a massive sale on the DLC which I also bought. I might have to get rid of it for a few bob and go back to the PS3 version.

Plus all the other games as well and the VIta stuff. I only ever played the intro to Saints Row 3 the rest of the game looked a bit bland after that.

    This is awesome

  9. I’ve got a 30 day trial handy, so will activate it when I’ve got time for BF3. Looking forward to playing Payday too.

  10. This could be good for EA, it might actually convert a few COD fans. I did say ‘might’

    • I tried to get my mate to play Battlefield for a change as all he plays is COD and i mean it’s all he plays, but upon seeing it at mine his reply was it’s crap the graphics are rubish compared to COD it’s the same thing but it aint no COD is it! LOL Don’t get me wrong i like Call of Duty played them for years but i don’t play it as much as i use to,and as for it being the same i said no way BF is more realistic atleast with a sniper you don’t just point at there head an BANG there dead, plus the maps are huge and there’s vechles same my arse lol.

      • I enjoy both as there both very different games ones a fast action arcade style FPS the other is a bigger scale more realistic FPS.

      • I’ve tried to convert people too but after they discover running in circles with a shotgun doesn’t generally work they say its crap. lol
I was actually quite surprised the last time I saw COD online at how ‘cartoony’ the graphics seemed.
