Not a lot to say about this, other than to point out that this interface is bloody lovely but then, you can see that for yourselves. Oh, and that is Shuhei Yoshida playing along and he did post that screenshot directly to his Twitter feed. That’s pretty cool.

PlayStation is riding the crest of a wave of success at the moment, as their next gen console looms and we’re hearing nothing but positivity about it.

  1. That’s bizarre. The sound appears to be totally out of synch and just makes the whole presentation a mess.

Is there a way to turn off the menu sounds? First thing I do on a new mobile phone is turn off the screen press sounds.

  2. 0:00 – 2:18… ambient music / guy in a chair / bleep bleep bleep…

2:19… a frustrated member of the audience goes crazy from excessive bleeping and starts shooting shit up.

  3. I missed this from the live feed as there was no picture for a while so good to see it, looks good and tons faster than PS3’s.

  4. I watched the conference afterwards on the PS3 youtube app and it looks impressive but the damn cameraman was obsessed with these wide panning shots at the most inopportune moments, making it difficult to follow the sequence closely.

    • Couldn’t agree more. Long shots of the auditorium when there’s trailers playing? Oh, well done. *slow claps*

      • I heard a rumour is was Major Nelson on camera duty,i enjoyed his tribute to Wayne’s World at the beginning Extreme Close Up Waaaaaah.

  5. ridiculous selection of cameras when trailer is player. Whoever directed this needs bloody shooting.
