Knack was our first real look at the next generation of PlayStation, and it looked like a simple platformer. A nice one, but a simple one. In fact it was the firs PS4 game to be revealed because Sony boss, Shuhei Yoshida, wanted to show something different instead of another FPS.
Now we have a new trailer for Japan Studio’s title.
This one is a lot more story oriented showing a full blown war between humans and goblins, as well as new characters. It also looks a lot more serious than earlier impressions, showing Knack in a lot of combat situations. I like the look of this personally.
Knack will be a launch title for the PS4 this winter.

I wasn’t keen on what i had seen before this trailer but it’s certainly looking better now, more fleshed out. One to keep an eye on.

Same here. I thought that previous trailers and clips looked a little tame but this has piqued my interest. I too am keeping an eye on this one.

I expected the game to be a lot more cutesy and platformer-y, but like the article says, Knack just got serious!
