Destiny is one of the major titles coming out in the next year, with it being Bungie’s next title. There have been a few demonstrations posted around the net, but unfortunately it wasn’t playable at this year’s EGX with the only presence being a rather impressive statue and a video showing gameplay. However, if rumours are correct, access to the game could arrive before release as a beta for Destiny may be in the works . First though we have the confirmed box art.
It looks very Halo like to me, with the helmets giving off a Spartan vibe.It’s unsurprising considering Halo is Bungie’s big success so inspiration in the art style from that was likely to seep in, but I quite like the box art.
The PS blog post on which this was posted on also mentions that a new trailer will be released tomorrow, and details on something exciting “if you’re looking to suit up and explore our new frontier.”
That sounds like a hint towards a beta which ties in nicely with apparent leaks, where a Reddit user claims to have found beta references in a page source on the Destiny site. This reference was a sentence which claimed those who pre-ordered Destiny would gain access to the beta, but it seems to have been removed since as I can’t find the suspect sentence in the page source.
With the PS Blog mentioning details to explore Destiny tomorrow beta access seems like the most likely conclusion. We’ll let you know as soon as the news goes live.

Thought the exact same thing. Actually thought the character was facing us until i scrolled down and saw the legs were the opposite way..Hmmm… thats strange!

Anyways, hopefully there will be a PS4 beta and hopefully I can get an invite. :)
