League Of Legends Producer’s Twitter Hacked, Card Battler Revealed

This past weekend Marc Merrill – President & Co-founder of Riot Games, and Executive Producer on the League of Legends games – saw his twitter account compromised, with the shameless hacker revealing a string of information about a previously unannounced League of Legends card game known as Supremacy.

According to those responsible for the takeover, the game was completed yet never released some time ago – these claims seemingly verified by the images of log-in screens and card decks posted to Marc’s Twitter account, which have since been deleted.

Riot games registered the League Of Legends: Supremacy trademark back in May 2012.

After threatening to later expose further information, the account went quiet, before the real Marc Merrill seemingly re-appeared, dismissing but not denying the leaks.

“Yup, someone got onto my Twitter account,” he said. “We’re always working on a variety of new ideas for League & beyond. Lots of experimentation that may never see the light of day :).”
