Although it was reported that the PlayStation exclusive Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag DLC could make its way to other platforms after a six month exclusivity period, due to a PlayStation advert showing a disclaimer saying so, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.
The DLC in question is an hour of additional content, featuring Aveline, the hero of the PlayStation Vita (and now being remade for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC) Assassin’s Creed: Liberation.
Ubisoft have since confirmed to Eurogamer that the content will never be released on other platforms, only coming to PS3 and PS4. The same could remain true for Watch Dogs, but Ubisoft haven’t confirmed that one yet.
The first bit of DLC – although not substantial – is also now free for PlayStation Plus subscribers, revealed by PlayStation’s twitter account. Originally a pre-order bonus, the Aveline Figurehead DLC grants you a bobble head for your desk in the modern-day sections.

Enough with the sarcasm here people. I think we can all agree this is the greatest value DLC ever and is THE reason to drop $500 on a PS4, PS+ subscription and new game. I for one didn’t even care about AC4 until I heard this important news about the virtueal bobblehead. Why isn’t this on more mainstream media sites? We need more info. How many virtual inches tall is the virtual bobble head. Where exactly does it virtually sit on the virtual desk among the virtual paparwork? I need answers dammit!
