Call of Duty Ghosts may have just released this week, but you won’t be able to play it on your PS4 until the 29th of November. If you haven’t picked up a copy yet, then we’ve got you sorted, as we’ve teamed up with musicMagpie to offer the chance for one of you to win the Hardened Edition of the game on PS4.
Before we get to our competition, musicMagpie are running their own, with the top prize of a PlayStation 4 and the Hardened Edition of Ghosts, a second prize of the Hardened Edition on PS4 and a third place prize of a standard copy of Ghosts on PS4. It’s very easy to enter, and you can either do that by entering on their Facebook page or through their blog. Their competition closes on December 6th, so you’ve got plenty of time to enter.
However, here on TSA we’ll make things very simple for you to win the Hardened Edition of the game on PS4. All you have to do is drop a comment in the comments section below saying what your favourite Call of Duty moment was, be that online or in a single player campaign.
For example, my favourite moment in Call of Duty is the time I spent playing Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare online with a group of friends from early afternoon on a Friday until early morning on Saturday. I’m not sure I’ll ever recapture that magic with online gaming, and it was just amazing.
The competition will close at 23:59PM GMT on Wednesday 20th November, and we’ll pick a random winner to be announced a day or two later. The winner will be contacted via the email they used to sign up to TSA with, so keep an eye on that if you do enter.
As per usual, TSA’s terms and conditions apply and in this case the competition is open to the UK only. Again, the competition closes for entry on Wednesday 20th of November at 23:59 GMT. The copy of the game will be sent out before the launch of the PS4, but please allow a few days for delivery.
Good luck!

Hearing that “bling” sound of the platinum trophy for World at War. I knew then it was finally over.

My favorite moment has to be the No Russian in Modern Warfare 2, it was just such a shock.

Earning the Mile High Club achievement om CoD4. Took me a solid day of practice but I still remember roughly where all the enemies are and where to throw all the flashbangs.

When I put the CoD MW disk in my old xbox for the first time. I rented it from Blockbuster…remember them

Black Ops on PS3, playing gun game on Array map, I was on the ballastic knife, i think next closest was on rocket launchers. I was on top of the tower with the generator at top when someone started shooting and hitting me, i jumped off the tower, rockets shooting past, and fired my knife as I fell, hit the guy that had been shooting me with I think an M16, before smashing in to the ground and dying, made for a brilliant final killcam!

I’m rather appalling at online shooters, so my standout COD moment was the first time I finished in the top 4 of free-for-all, think it was that Modern Warfare one that had a lot of rain

My favourite Call of Duty moment, which happens to be from my favourite game in the series, is the very last scenes of World at War.
I struggled for days, no weeks, working my way through the campaign on Veteran difficulty. The frustration. Sweat. Anger. Persistence. Self-control from not destroying my PS3 controller when dying 50+ times at the same point (The amount of grenades the German soldiers had was ridiculous). When Dimitri is struggling to get to the end of the roof with the Soviet flag in hand, after fighting his way through hordes of enemies with Reznov I felt almost euphoric when he plants that flag! I was feeling the same relief as Dimitri due to the amount of effort it took getting to these final moments on Veteran. THIS is the greatest moment in Call of Duty history for me.
P.S. I have never attempted Veteran mode again after this. I am scarred for life…
