Infinity Ward’s fourth and final content drop will be deployed later today in the form of downloadable multiplayer expansion, Nemesis. Available exclusively to Xbox users for a timed period, this latest bundle includes four new maps for online play as well as “Exodus”, the closing chapter to Call of Duty: Ghosts’ popular Extinction mode.
Since its initial reveal, Infinity Ward has been touting the Nemesis DLC via a series of in-depth videos, probing into its four multiplayer maps, one of which is an updated classic from the original Modern Warfare.
With Advanced Warfare just months away, don’t expect any more Ghosts DLC outside the occasional weapon skin or bonus player avatar. Launching on November 4th, the latest instalment in Activision’s power-selling franchise will usher in a new era of modern combat, also giving Sledgehammer Games an opportunity to test itself against both Infinity Ward and Treyarch.
