With the next-gen big-boys of Sony and Microsoft banging down the door of both AAA & indie alike, Nintendo are keen to reiterate that their machines are not to be forgotten, and although a few of the larger publishers may have deserted the Wii U in favour of the PS4 or Xbox One’s sheer power, a new sizzle reel shown during Nintendo’s Direct videocast earlier today proves that the Wii U and 3DS are still viable – and desirable – platforms… for indie developers.
All the games on display, which range from 2D platformers to fully-immersive 3D puzzlers, will be getting an eShop release on either one, or both, of Nintendo’s systems in the coming months. You can expect further details on each specific title’s release date and pricing as they approach launch.
