Quantum Break, the new project by Remedy Entertainment, could make an extended appearance at VGX, formerly Spike’s Video Game Awards. The game first made its appearance at the Xbox One reveal event in May this year. This tease comes from a Polygon interview with Microsoft’s Phil Spencer, who said:
We have a pretty good piece that I’m trying to coerce people into putting out before the end of the year … showing the full Remedy vision, with Sam [Lake] giving a pretty good description of how the game works with some new gameplay footage.
Maybe VGX would be a good place for that.”
The story itself involves time manipulation and a glimpse of that can be seen in the trailer above. I quite like the look of Quantum Break and if I were to get an Xbox One this would be the game that would interest me the most.
VGX will be taking place on December 7th, no doubt filled with new game announcements. We’ll keep you covered with all the news from the event.

I’m looking forward to hearing and seeing more of this as it’s the most intriguing game i’ve seen in the XB1 lineup.
