The Last Guardian was supposed to be one of the big titles for the PS3. Ever since its announcement at the 2009 E3 there has been some major hype around The Last Guardian, though it has faced delay after delay with speculation it will never be released.
However, Sony seems to still have faith in the game as it is listed on the EU PSN Store. I took the above screenshot today, where the product page for The Last Guardian lists it as a disc only release, though interestingly not the platform. This could be nothing more than a placeholder to show the game is still coming and that there may be more news soon. I can’t say how old the page is but if you wish to see it then here is the link.

Interesting. Still looking forward to it

Me too, I’m not even getting annoyed at the trickle of info, for whatever reason I’m still really excited about some dog-bird herding.

Yep, this has been there since the launch of the webstore. At least it hasn’t been deleted though!

I started to lose interest in this about 8 years ago. In fact if you can’t shoot the catbird thing with a tank or hurl a grenade at it I’m not interested.

dya know what I think is great about the last guardian, everyone saying “I can’t wait for it, it’s going to be brilliant etc etc”
yet know one knows what it’s about lol or how it plays or anything apart from a boy and an animal thingy!
I don’t understand where all the hype about it has come from!

The hype is based on the developers past games, Ico and Shadow of The Colossus. Two of the best games from the previous generation.
The game seems to have a similar artstyle and eerie feel to it.

The last Guardian has Duke Nukem Forever / guns n roses – Chinese Democracy style massive let down written all over it now.

The EU PS Store is rarely cleaned. This page exists for years. It was revamped with the new look, but it’s still the exact same page, with the exact same text, that we could find on the old EU PS Store when you made a search in the PS3 with the name of the game.
As well, you can see that they allow the pre-order for “WatchDogs” with a 01/01/2099 release date. Yep, still 31055 days to wait ^^.
