Scientists Die In Call Of Duty: Ghosts Extinction’s DLC Story Trailer

Call of Duty: Ghosts’ Extinction mode was one of the fresher additions to the game this year. The only problem was that there was just a single map to play on and few reason to go back into the fray once you’d beaten it.

That’s set to change over the course of the four DLC packs for the game, with a new Extinction level included in each release. Instead of just dropping you in the thick of it, it turns out that these will be tied together with a narrative that will span the four episodes, as revealed by this new trailer:

Human scientists are pretty rubbish when it comes to handling alien specimens, so your team have to head in to a snow covered facility to sort out their mess. At least you’ll have some new guns to play with, as you go up against new aliens of all shapes and sizes.

The Onslaught DLC pack, which includes this first episode, is set for release on Xbox 360 and Xbox One on the 28th of January, with other platforms to come at a later, more secret date.

  1. Very much looking forward to this! Nice that there is some story being put to the mode.

  2. As a scientist, I am noticing a disturbing rise in the amount of violence directed towards scientists in video games. I feel like it’s been a downward spiral since Half-life.

I will be raising this issue with my local MP at my next convenience.
