New PS4 Dying Light Trailer Shows Humanity Fading Away

A new trailer for Dyling Light has been released by Techland, showing both glimpses of gameplay and the dark situation the zombie apocalypse has brought to the survivors. It’s a very sombre piece of footage focusing on what has been lost, and how the survivors are struggling against the zombie horde, and the interactions with each other as people turn against one another.

Techland do have experience with creating some very good trailers, for example the original Dead Island one, and this Dying Light one takes that into account. There’s even a child involved here who is innocently skipping unaware of the danger behind him at the end. There’s still no release date though which is a bit of a downer but we’ll be sure to report it once we know when this zombie apocalypse will be unleashed.

Dying Light is coming to PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

  1. I want to like this but it seems a bit like a more shinny Dead Island.

  2. Still loving the look of this. Dead Island was a great co-op romp but nothing more than that. This world looks far more fleshed-out and the day/night cycle terrifying at times.

Just as a mention: Axis Productions created the original Dead Island trailer. UK based and obviously at the top of their game. Sadly, Dead Island didn’t turn out to be any sort of emotionally charged piece. I think Techland have learned their lesson.

  3. I played this at Eurogamer (got a free t-shirt too). It looks like they’ve really worked on it since then.

  4. Im excited to try this out. Hopefully we will get a release date soon!

  5. This is the first I’ve heard of this game but after seeing that trailer I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for this in future.
