Would you look at that? It’s not Call of Duty or FIFA on the top spot in the UK charts this week! TT Games are along with a new entry of their evergreen Lego franchise, this time tying in with the well received The Lego Movie rather than another property, and pips Call of Duty: Ghosts to the top spot.
Meanwhile, FIFA 14, which was last week’s leader, has dropped from 1st to 4th, as our other new entry sees Lightning return to 3rd… in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. Square will doubtless be a bit disappointed they couldn’t go any higher than that.
Elsewhere in the charts, there’s the usual shuffling of positions, but leaving the top 20 to make space for Lego and Lightning Returns were Forza Motorsport 5 and Madden 25, as NFL fever dies down for another year. Bafflingly, Aliens: Colonial Marines is still hanging in there and actually managed to climb a little higher.

As soon as the movie ended my Nephew said he wanted the game so i’m not surprised to see it take the top spot this week.
