I hate the word ‘misspoke’ but I am sure Microsoft are going to use it in the next few hours. Jeff Rubenstein was guesting on Larry “Madge” Hryb’s podcast and said “apparently during this live stream, which will start at 11 pm eastern/8 pm pacific, we are going to be exploring or showcasing the future of Titanfall.”
Now it gets a bit confusing as Madge chipped in and said they had “no clue” what Respawn Entertainment will be showing, but some have thought I may have meant the franchise was going to Xbox exclusive forever. Meanwhile Vince Zampella also has no idea what the hell is going on.
For those asking about the 'future of titanfall' announcement, I'm confused as to what that is. We did not sell tf to MS.

The livestream in question will be broadcast on Monday from SXSW so I guess we find out then, if someone has worked out what is going on.

I feel like I must state this since this is a predominantly PlayStation site but I’m mostly an Xbox gamer, dabbling in PS when it suits me. I have been with Microsoft since the first year of the 360 and the thing that I have hated the most about the Xbox brand in all that time is Larry Hryb he is a fucking egotistic pompus ass hole, I wish he was fired from Microsoft years ago.

I think it’s too early for them to be discussing Titanfall 2, or wherever the series may go, but perhaps there’s a movie in the works, or a tv show similar to Defiance?
Or it could just be Rubenstein wanting to build up even more hype for Titanfall and the livestream.

This isn’t a platform bash in anyway, but I just think it looks a dull game! I remember when ‘Gears of War’ first appeared on the 360 and it completely blew me away (to a point where I almost bought a 360) but this….it just feels like CoD had sex with a Transformer and created this.

Very misleading indeed.
Not a terribly excited about this game. Full RRP for an online FPS puts me off for a start. Infamous Second Son is getting the notes I’d be dropping on Titanfall if the Mech-fest had shown more promise.
The only game my XB1 gets me playing is Forza. But having just bought Gran Turismo 6 I now feel Forza’s lack of content since the F4 is more apparent.
Better nail some top exclusives or XB1 is going onto a gift card to fund the exciting PS4 line-up
