May’s PlayStation Plus Update Announced

Another month, another PlayStation Plus update and more games to join your Instant Games Collection. Will it be a month in which everyone is happy with the additions, or will noses be put out of joint and complaints fill the comments sections of the internet?

The PlayStation 4’s game of the month is the quirky Stick it to The Man, previously released on PS3 and Vita, but coming to PS+ at the same time as the PS4 launch.

It’s a side-scrolling adventure in a world where everything is made out of paper and stickers, but in which Ray gets the power to manipulate the world around him thanks to a big glowing pink arm which he discovers sticking out of his head one day. Sounds barmy, doesn’t it?

Coming to PS3, though, we have the rather solid additions of Payday 2 and Puppeteer, bring two well received games from last year to the service, while the PS Vita will get Muramasa Rebirth and Everybody’s Golf.

It’s all change next Wednesday, 30th April, as these games arrive in the IGC:

  • Stick it to The Man
  • Payday 2
  • Puppeteer
  • Muramasa Rebirth
  • Everybody’s Golf

Just be sure not to forget to add the games that are leaving the service before then:

  1. Nah, nothing there that takes my fancy. Still, can’t complain at what I’ve gotten for nowt up to now and a couple of months with nothing of interest at least gives me a small chance of tackling the backlog!

    • Exactly my view too, not too interested, but still got plenty to play. And maybe one of these turns out to be much better than expected, in case I get around trying any of them.

  2. Hmm looks like a good month

  3. Nothing that excites me particularly, but will certainly give them a go to see if they’re any good.

  4. Puppeteer, great I wanted to try that but got average-ish reviews so missed with my massive backlog on Ps3. Murrasmo rebirth I’ll give a go. Also look forward to sick it to the man.

  5. I’ll take them all :D

PS+ …the service that just keeps on giving.

    I still haven’t played Payday 1 yet.

  6. Puppeteer and Everybody’s Golf ta very much. Everybody’s Golf on PS3 was a stunning little gem and have heard that it oozes quality handheld goodness on Vita!
    Cracking plus month ;)

  7. A good selection this month, Puppeteer is ace and if you have little ones they will love watching the story unfold as you play.
I’ll be grabbing Murasma Rebirth,Everybodys Golf and Payday 2. Maybe Stick it to the Man too even though i have it on PS3. It’s barmy alright but i haven’t played much of it yet so having it on PS4 will possibly spur me into giving it another go.

  8. A good month for me, wanted Puppeteer for a while and looking forward to an RPG on the vita too. Of course it would be rude not to take the other games too!

  9. I Bought stick it to the man in one of the sales for Vita. Enjoyable game, If i didn’t already have it or know anything else about it i Might have turned my nose up at it as some of you may be doing, but don’t, its quite fun to play and for you trophy whores, really easy trophies to get.

  10. Loving the Vita games of late. Anything should be better than Mercenary Kings.
