Curve Digital has announced that Puppygames’ homage to early arcade games like Space Invaders, Titan Attacks, will be live on the store tomorrow, and is available now in North America. The game is priced at £7.99/€8.99/$11.99, and will be a cross buy title so will be available to play on your PS3, Vita and PS4 once purchased. Curve has been working on the port of the game for Sony’s consoles since December, and if you’ve spent time with a game that has gone through Curve then you’ll know they’re pretty good.
Titan Attacks will have 100 levels in which to fight off the invasion, and you’ll be able to customise your ship to be either a fast mover to a tank with lots of guns. The game will also have leaderboards to see who the Earth’s best defenders. It looks like a fun twist on the game formulas of old.

Good we need more shooters.

I thought it would be a paid for game as it looks way too good to be included amongst the dross of my PS+ subscription. Saying that, it is quite retro…

Whilst on the topic of PS+, could one of you TSA staff get in touch with Sony and ask when we’ll see swing away from ‘indie’ games on PS+? I see the word ‘indie’ as code for ‘crap’.
Tuffcub
Well that’s blatently untrue, so, er, no.

I’ll probably wait until the inevitable discount.

Looks fun, and good to see it’s cross play for all three consoles.
