TheSixthAxis Warframe Clan – Do You Have What It Takes?

TheSixthAxis has a very active Warframe community and its very own clan which currently has 10 members. The clan was set up and is run by TSA community member Vandix with a little help from a few others, mostly TSA member Gtown (or Kitch as he sometimes likes to be known). We’re very keen to expand this clan, so Gtown wrote this following piece in the hope of recruiting some new clansfolk.

I’ll hand you straight over to him, just after the teaser trailer that he made for the clan.

War(frame), huh.

What is it good for?

Absolutely…

Well, lots of stuff actually. Warframe has come a long way since the PS4’s launch. The free-to-play title has a very active community and is well loved by the people that play it. It can be a bit intimidating to begin with, but the guys at Digital Extremes have worked hard at making it more accessible and it now comes with a very handy “easy set-up” button.

You can make it easier still by joining the rather snazzy TSA clan! The Dutch Tenno himself, Vandix, has been running the clan since day one and has recently expanded it. This means we need more active members who are willing to put in a few hours a week.

Whilst there isn’t a strict rule to joining, we do ask that you are a regular player of the game. The reason for this is that the bigger the clan, the more expensive the items are, plus the new update now pitches clan against clan so you need to be eager to play. We meet pretty much every night from 8pm, and love helping new players find their feet.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in then please drop Vandix, LLCJ112, Radboud, tonycawley or myself a shout on PSN.

  1. Or you can add your psn id into the comments down here and we can add you to the clan that way.

  2. Tony spent a couple of hours at the weekend showing me the ropes and can see it being addictive once you break past that initial confusing learning curve.

I’m up for being part of the clan though will take a very long time to get to the standards of you veterans.

    • Oh it’s not about being up to any particular standard mate, just getting involved and playing that counts! It is cooperative after all!

      • Hi Tony, are there any specific nights you always play or is every night from 8?, also what are the voice chat options like?, I tried playing it at launch with a mate but we couldn’t voice chat to work

      • Voice chat works absolutely fine, though you’re sometimes better in a party so random people can’t hear your chat if they join your game.
Every night from about 8 there’s pretty much at least someone from the clan online, usually most of us.

      • ok,I’ll let you know,I should have a go first- not played it yet

  3. Haven’t posted on here for ages, but I’d like to sign up for this clan if no one else minds. :D Not sure what being part of a clan actually involves though.

Just getting back into Warframe and it gets boring playing with randoms.

    • All you need to do is turn up and fight. The dojo needs the odd donation of stuff but don’t worry too much.
Send me a request on PSN but mention TSA.

      • Oh okay. Cool.

        I’ll send you a request now. :)

  4. Funny thing is..

I’m moving house so not very active online ATM.

Vandix is boss. Also send him a request.

  5. This sounds really good. I’ve not played Warframe yet but it looks really cool so I might give it a go and seeing how I find it perhaps apply in a couple of weeks when I’m back from my holiday.

    • I’m away myself soon and moving house but once I’m back it’ll be game on.

  6. I have’nt played Warframe yet myself, i generally avoid free to play games but by the sound of it and the video it looks and sounds quite good. I’d like to join your clan but dont think i could make every night, as my wife had our first born a couple of weeks ago my gaming time has dropped but if two or three nights is ok i’m willing to help your cause.

    • Couple of nights a week is fine. Join us when you can. We’ll help level you up.

  7. Would this cause me to spend too much time playing it? Other things keep distracting me, but I keep coming back and having a bit of a go at it. And the stronger I become, the more it’s tempting me back.

Plus, I want to get that “Savior of Uranus” trophy. Because while I’m technically 42, I’m still capable of giggling like a child at the word “Uranus”.

    • If you laugh at Uranus jokes you’ll get on fine with us all.
It might get a bit addictive. You’ll find yourself looking for 1 part of a particular Warframe.

      • They should have renamed the planet to stop those sorts of jokes, like they did in Futurama. Then I’d be after the “Savior of Urectum” trophy instead. And not giggling like a little kid.

The more I play the game, the more I’m enjoying it. Although progress seems to be ridiculously slow going (to encourage buying stuff, I guess). Grinding for stuff and doing the same basic handful of things again and again? Some people hate that, but it does kind of suck me in if I’m not careful.

Sod it. Somebody shall be receiving PSN messages from MrYd when I get around to it. Unless anyone wants to beat me to it. Then I shall come and laugh at Uranus.

  8. Gotta give this a play as it looks good. Maybe too early to clan up -_-

    • Maybe….
Add us as friends and we’ll guide you through.

  9. I’m now a member of the clan. I feel all special. xD

    • We make all feel special. Just be careful around LLCJ112.

      • Woah woah woah! I always make people feel special!

      • Just be careful if he asks you to join him in the Dojo!

  10. Having more or less skipped a generation of consoles – only got a ps3 last autumn – I’m pretty new to online gaming and haven’t really been enamoured with my experiences so far. Gave this a brief go when I got my ps4 this year but got distracted by other games, however, now the footy season has ended I’ll give it a proper tryout.

Would be good to join up with people who could hold my hand a bit and tolerate my impressive lack of skills :-)
