The PlayStation store seems to have jumped the gun once again and has a sidebar advert revealing the June PS+ content.
Come to PlayStation 3 is the pixelated indie horror of Lone Survivor, whilst the AAA game of the month is the ball bouncing NBA 2K 14. Â Staying with things that bounce about, the improbably animated Dragon’s Crown will be the game of the month on PS Vita. You may want to play that game in the privacy of your own home, I got some very odd looks when I played it on the tube to work.
Finally, PlayStation 4 owners will be loading up Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate, which is the ultimate version of Pixeljunk Shooter. Hope that helps.
Pixejunk Shooter Ultimate and Lone Survivor are cross buy, whether or not that offer is extended to the PS+ versions has yet to be revealed.

Can I upgrade nba on the cheap? If so then win. If not then Pixel junk is pretty bloody cool.

Unfortunately the original offer expired a couple of months ago. It’d be a very smart move though to re-open it. I’d happily pay £10-£15 to upgrade to the PS4 version, but I absolutely won’t be buying it otherwise after getting it for free on PS3.

Seconded.
I always defend Sony’s Plus offers, even when I already own everything in a month’s update, but staying positive is getting really difficult.
These lo-res pixel games like Lone Survivor are actually starting to aggravate me.

As a Vita owner Im finding myself fairly annoyed every month. The offerings are getting worse and worse as timegoes by, and with absolutely na da on the horizon I think its finally time the say goodbye to the Vita one and for all. RIP you beautiful mishandled oppurtunity, Sony fucked you up big time.

Vita is essentially the PS4’s second screen solution, nothing more.
Sure, there may be the odd bit of chaff chucked at gamers like the Borderlands game as Sony provide hope, but outside of PS4 RP…. The Vita is deader than any duck

Exactly my point its relying on PS4 instead of being alongside it. I think it was Adam Boyes who was asked about a new Call of Duty game for Vita and he said we have remote play for that essentially giving Vita owners a new CoD. How exactly? I own a Vita but not a PS4 simply because I prefer the Xbox One controller. Am I being shorthanded simply because I didn’t purchase a PS4? It sure as hell feels like it.

That might be the case for early adopters of the handheld but for me as a late arrival to the Vita scene it is absolutely buzzing with great titles available to play. I have around 8 games that are in progress on it, so seriously need to stop starting (anything else)!!
The Vita is due a few AAA’s for sure not least a new Gran Turismo porta-bonanza.
Who knows, now that the next gen ornament has landed and parked up Sony might start showing the Vita a bit of respect. {:O

Second month in a row for a shitty sports title – PS+ starting to make Games With Gold look respectable…

Dragons Crown would’ve been great on PS3…
