Ratchet And Clank Trilogy Hitting Vita This July

The Ratchet & Clank trilogy – remastered versions of the three PS2 games, originally released for PS3 in 2012 – will be making its way to PS Vita this summer, and you’ll be able to get your hands on it from July 2nd.

Expect it to cost €29.99 on the PS Store, which should translate to around £25, or alternatively you can pick up a boxed edition of the game in stores.

Insomniac seem suitably excited about the release:

We’re really excited by how well the PS Vita port of the HD Trilogy has turned out. It looks amazing and is a terrific way to play the classic Ratchet & Clank adventures. We can’t wait for you to get your hands on it and take Ratchet with you wherever you may go.

Have a look at the screenshots below for yourself, and decide whether you think Ratchet & Clank trilogy is worth picking up on PS Vita:

  1. Yes, will definitely be picking this up. Happy camper! :)

  2. This is a definite buy, though I might wait to see if it suffers from the same framerate issues as other ps2 to vita ports first

    • That’s my only concern, Mass media are doing the port and there were a few grumblings surrounding their work on the Jak and Daxter port.

      • Did they do the PS3 Splinter Cell HD collection too? Shame these developers don’t quite hit the mark like BluePoint do.

  3. Great stuff, the Vita games library is exploding with must have goodness.
Played the trilogy on PS3 as a noob to the series and was immediately hooked, a Vita transition should work seamlessly and with the immediate press start to quick save mid level should be stock pick up and play material for Vita ;)

  4. I have always been a fan fo the Ratchet and Clank series. I just need to get a PS Vita and start building my Vita library!
