Batman: Arkham Knight has been delayed until some point in 2015, moving the original release date of October this year, as Rocksteady feel more time is needed to bring the experience audiences deserve, and not the one they would get in the autumn. Guy Perkins of Rocksteady has spoken about the delay, explaining that it would be a disservice to release it earlier than it being ready.
“We just want to make the best experience we possibly can and we need more time to do that. I think what we’ve shown so far is a super ambitious project and we just want to make sure we are giving Batman fans and gamers the best Batman experience that we can possibly deliver and that just takes time. I think we would be doing fans a disservice if we didn’t spend the time on the title.
“I think it’s just a case of we just want it to be really great. There are challenges inherent with moving across these new platforms but we always envisioned the game on that new hardware.”
Arkham Knight will not be releasing on the last gen due to the scope of what Rocksteady will be including within the game. Here’s hoping we get a new release date soon.

Ohh hamburgers :(
Really was looking forward to this in a somewhat barren year. But seriously, 2015 is the new 2007 for amazing releases
Starman
Looking forward to this. At least the Xmas release rush is getting spread out.

Its official, with The Order, Batman, Witcher and Division all pushed back, there is now nothing of note launching in 2014. Hate delays, or more to the point I hate developers announcing games way before they are ready to ship.

Destiny, Alien Isolation, Shadow Of Mordor, Driveclub and Dragon Age Inquisition all still scheduled for this year.

And possibly Assassins Creed 5 and Far Cry 4?
