Mario Party 10 Coming To The Wii U

Mario Party 10 is coming exclusively to the Wii U, and will be compatible with Amiibo. In the newest instalment, players will be able to take advantage of the Wii U gamepad, by playing as Bowser as he attempts to subvert the other players. Controlling Bowser allows a total of 5 players to take part – one puppet master to make minigames more difficult, and four friends vying for points to win.

Players will travel on the board together in a car, as they did in Mario Party 9, meaning they cannot steam ahead or lag behind as they could in earlier instalments. As would be expected, there will be new areas to land on across the board, including theme-park style attractions, and a range of new minigames.

The new toy-to-life figures, Amiibo, will also be compatible with Mario Party 10. However, the date these will be available, and the release date for Mario Party 10, have yet to be unveiled.

  1. Meh, I prefer each character to move independently, and the board to be branching within a closed circuit. Like MP2 and 3, they’re still the best games in the series and Nintendo should go back to basics I think.
