Yoshi’s Woolly World Coming To Wii U

Yoshi’s Wooly World is a cute new take on the Yoshi’s Island series from Good Feel, the developers of Kirby’s Epic Yarn. They aimed to give the game a handmade feeling, like real, interactive yarn. In Yoshi’s Wooly World, Yoshi himself will be made of yarn, allowing for him to make many transformations, and to interact with the environment in new ways – such as destroying obstacles and them reforming into new paths.

The game will also offer a two player mode for friends to play co-operatively. Players have the ability to swallow their friends, transforming them into eggs as they would their enemies, then throwing them to higher platforms.

It looks to be a deeper experience than Kirby’s Epic Yarn, bringing a fresh take on both the ‘yarn’ theme in Nintendo games and the Yoshi’s Island series.
