Not many of you will remember Styx the Goblin. In 2012 he starred alongside the hulking Arkail in Cyanide’s fairly decent action adventure game, Of Orcs and Men. Having shed his brutish companion, Styx is about to take the lead role next week’s indirect sequel, Styx: Master of Shadows.
Launching on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One, Master of Shadows places an unconventional focus on the oppressed Goblin populace with Styx silently stabbing his way through the enemy hierarchy.
Thanks to its non-linear level design, players can roam each environment, looking for different ways to complete their objectives. Whatever your style, the Goblin guttersnipe has the tools for the job, including clones which can distract and blind enemies.
Styx: Master of Shadows launches on October 7th.
