Watch Us Play Mario Kart 8’s DLC In Multiplayer

UPDATE: We’ve all finished now, but you can watch an hour and a half of us playing in the video below! Unfortunately, we were having difficulties getting our Skype chat to be piped through for the first half hour, and even once Peter did get his own voice working, he’s really quiet. Listen closely though, and you might be able to hear him complain about being in last place…

Mario Kart 8’s first DLC pack launched today, boasting superb value with eight new tracks, three new characters, and four new vehicles. So, we thought we’d have a little bit of a multiplayer session and stream it to you as we play and chat.

We’ll be going live on YouTube from 3PM, and we’ll have a lobby open if you’ve got the DLC and fancy joining us to race rather than just watching! Make sure to add one of us on Nintendo Network – either mynameisblair, colossalblue, or teflon6678. Just be ready about a quarter of an hour before we start streaming!

  1. I like the idea of the TSA streams although I’d prefer them to focus on the PlayStation pretty much exclusively seeing as the main draw must surely be PlayStation fans. Regardless… enjoy Mario Kart. :-)

    Additionally, it’d be great to see the new releases streamed so those people on the fence about whether to purchase proposed PS4 title or not, can make a far more informed opinion.

  4. I wanted to join, but didn’t have the time. The new tracks are phenomenal though. Loving the added touches on the Zelda track and Mute City.

    Certainly makes me excited for the second batch, but then I remember it’s six months away and cry a little.
