Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 Shooting For Release In 2016 On PS4, Xbox One & PC

CI Games has announced that it is working on a third instalment for the Sniper: Ghost Warrior series, with the game expected to release in 2016 on PS4, Xbox One & PC. According to the press release there will be open maps so you can tackle missions in different ways, deciding between picking off targets from a distance or getting up close and personal. The story will place players in an unnamed Eastern European country, where three different factions are vying for control  No prizes for guessing which recent conflict inspired that setting.

CI Games also announced that total sales figures for the series have reached 5.5 million, and the studio wants to make sure that the third entry to Sniper: Ghost Warrior will be a AAA title. To help they have on board Steve Hart, who worked on Rebellion’s Sniper Elite V2, as well as Marine Paul B. Robinson, who has worked on games for the past 20 years. There’s no footage or shots yet due to how early in development Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is.

    • Oh it has either been fixed or I had a mini-stroke.

      Anyway, I always like a sniper game but still haven’t played Sniper Elite 3 on PS4. Love a bit of Cabella too!
