Tecmo KOEI has confirmed that Toukiden: Kiwami will launch on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on March 27th. The upcoming demon-slaying action RPG is an updated version of last year’s Toukiden: Age of Demons, boasting “double” the amount of game content.
Aside from new monsters to fight and areas to explore, Kiwami will also sport new weapons, characters, items, moves, and collectible Mitama. The game’s storyline has been expanded too, promising to reveal the origins of the Slayers and the mysterious “Council of Elders”.
For those who crave a game similar to Monster Hunter but don’t have access to Nintendo hardware, Toukiden is the perfect fix. Distilling elements from Capcom’s power-selling franchise into slightly more approachable package, we scored Toukiden a respectable 7/10 in our review, praising the game’s online co-op and progression system.

Nice to have a big screen ‘hunting’ option. Come on Capcom, where’s our home console version of Monster Hunter 4?

Aye. For too long Capcom has left the series’ original fanbase out in the cold. I’ve nothing against the 3DS but it just doesn’t make sense for Capcom to make it an exclusive.
