New Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt Gameplay Arrives From GDC

Some new Witcher 3 footage has arrived online, taken from a live stream of the game. The gameplay above was shown to an audience at the GDC event taking place in San Francisco. It isn’t the highest quality and that is noted by the demonstrator, who confirms in this scenario Witcher 3 is not running at the highest settings.

The footage does show the lighting and shadow effects, which do look good, as well as the combat. The two instances of fighting place Geralt first against a wolf, which is quickly dispatched, and then against a couple of bandits. The bandits are an example of the game’s random encounters, so they may not be there during your playthrough.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is due for release on May 19th.
