It’s quite a busy one this week, with a couple of episodic titles starting to release today (they’ll be available for European PlayStation owners tomorrow) and some re-releases of downloadable titles starting tomorrow. It’s not until later this week – as per usual – that we see big hitters such as Bloodborne and Pillars of Eternity arrive.

You know all about Bloodborne already: it’s effectively a spiritual successor to the Demon’s/Dark Souls series, putting that hard-as-nails gameplay into a twisted and gothic setting. Reviews started to land early this morning, and we had something to say about it too, even though our full verdict isn’t quite ready yet.
And you’ll probably know about Life Is Strange and Game of Thrones too, considering they’ve already had episodes released. The second and third episodes respectively of those series are out today, with Telltale only just announcing the release date of Game of Thrones. Playing it close the chest, eh?
Ride, a new motorbiking game from the team behind the MotoGP franchise, seems to have popped up out of nowhere, while Toukiden is getting an enhanced edition for both PS4 and Vita later this week. Abe will also finally make his way to Xbox One and join the party over there, and Slender arrives a bit past his prime on current generation consoles.
Talking of finally making their way places, we’re going to see Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel – alongside the actual sequel – on PS4 and Xbox One for the first time this week, bundled together with all of the DLC, which means plenty of new playtime at a relatively low price. Well, unless you’ve played them already that is.
