Blizzard has uploaded an in-depth look at one the characters starring in its upcoming online shooter, Overwatch. Mercy is the game’s resident guardian angel, combining her expertise in science with the sheer mobility of a Valkyrie combat harness.
Using a powerful Caduceus Staff, Mercy can heal and even resurrect fallen team-mates, making her an extremely viable option for support players. Her winged suit also gives her an edge, allowing Mercy to make a beeline for any allies in need of patching up.
Revealed at last year’s Blizzcon, Overwatch is currently gearing towards a closed beta. Alongside Heartstone and Heroes of the Storm, it marks an ambitious step for publisher Blizzard.
