Destiny’s House Of Wolves Expansion Gets Another Trailer

We’re less than a week away from Destiny’s House of Wolves expansion, and despite issues surrounding the 1.2.0 patch that’s slated to be out before then, it appears the DLC is on schedule.

Originally, it looked like the patch that was supposed to drop Friday might spoil the release of House of Wolves, but in a recent post on their forums, Bungie’s Community Manager delivered some positive news.

Currently, all signs point to Friday morning (Bungie time) for Update 1.2.0. We’ll be sharing new details on the deployment schedule that leads to House of Wolves as soon as they become facts.

If you’re anxiously awaiting next week, head to the comments and let us know which part of the expansion you’ll be checking out first.

  1. Which part will I be checking out first? The story missions, because that will be a requirement to access the rest.

    • Really? Even the Crucible maps/modes?

      • Last time the story missions were required to enable you to do the nightfall/weekly strikes & so forth (Omnigul was the chosen strike that week), so they actually were locked off until such a time as you were up to speed (for lack of a better phrase) with what the point of the strike was. Crucible stuff I don’t think was locked off.

That said though, I don’t know if there will be some story arc that leads to the Trials of Osiris, so it is possible that may not be accessible until you have done the story missions that the DLC will be bringing.
