Octodad Skitters Its Way Onto PS Vita Next Week

There’s just something about Octodad that puts a smile on my face. I mean, I know he’s just a dad who loves his wife and kids and wants to live a normal life but his is an existence with a deep and twisted secret. I’ll not spoil the surprise for you, but let’s just say there’s a reason why he doesn’t like to visit the aquarium.

But soon you’ll be able to take Octodad to the aquarium whether he wants to go or not, thanks to the release of the game on PS Vita next week. Alas, while it will be cross-buy, it is without cross-save, but does come with its own separate trophy list and its own twist on local co-op.

This was originally announced back at PlayStation Experience, Sickhead Games and Sony’s Third Party Production team have worked to bring Young Horses’ game to the handheld a little like squeezing Octopus into an implausibly small jar.

Just don’t try to put a lid on it.

Seriously. Don’t.
