Tour De France 2015 Gameplay Trailer Released

According to the press blurb for Tour De France 2015, “cycling fans will enjoy all the most thrilling sensations of the Tour de France 2015 on consoles,” and the game will “please fans of cycling and simulation lovers.”

That sounds exciting, doesn’t it? Let’s have a look at the trailer.

What is new in the 2015 console version? Well that’s a very good question, especially as Cyanide have given me a handy list of all the new stuff.

  •   Unprecedented immersion: New routes, landmarks, sceneries, improved graphics, crowd full of life and more, will further enhance your sensation of being at the center of the exciting events.
  • Upgraded interface:The in-race interface has been redesigned to provide instant access to any information: effort, energy, feeds, position in the peloton, stage profile, wind direction and more.
  • Pro Team mode upgraded: To prepare the Tour de France, play the Dauphiné and the Critérium International every season. Achieve your race objectives and recruit to build your dream team.
  • New game mode: Challenge: Test your skills as a descender! We challenge you to descend the cols via the technical route to beat the reference times!

The official games of the Tour de France will release on PS4, PS3, Xbox One and PC this June. Xbox 360 owners will just have to sit on an exercise bike and play Forza really slowly.

  1. Virtual betty swollocks and nappy rash, who wouldn’t want some of that!

  2. Either this is a crime story of drug controls, investigation and the like (which would be quite boring), or it is an even more boring rubbish I cannot imagine anyone seriously could like playing. But tastes are different, and this is, of course, my personal opinion.

    • After this comment, I’m slightly ashamed to say I like the look of this.

      • Don’t be.

If you are into cycling and specially Tour de France, it’s actually not a bad game. The series is not perfect, has some issues, but it has improved a lot over the last few years and personally I enjoyed the 2013 and 2014 versions quite a bit.

Not sure if I’m to pick up the 2015 version, because it doesn’t look like much has changed, but when the tour is on, I’m properly tempted to :)

      • Ok, my comment might have been a bit harsh, no offense meant.
Although I like cycling myself, I don’t like these doping festivals at all. Watching these gives me the creeps, and playing it sounds even worse.

  3. i think its great that they are able to keep releasing games such as this, I was thinking today (while playing Farming Simulator ) what a diverse range of games there is available these days!
