A new blog post over on the EA Sports website has given us our first real look at Madden NFL 16, as well as a bit of an idea of what they’re working on and tweaking this season.
The screens display a lot of receiver and cornerback battles, which is one area you can expect to see some changes this year. As the QB, you’ll now have the option to place the ball in a certain location relative to where the receiver is, such as a high-point, a low-point and even the back-shoulder.
They’ve also added many new animations to make interactions between receivers and defensive backs more realistic. Finally, they mentioned that they’ve tweaked the time-of-day lighting system, which they claim will make player likenesses really stand out.
Have a look at the screens and let us know what you think.
