I lose track of all the Warriors games, but their lasting popularity is without doubt, whether it’s the main series from Tecmo Koei or the offshoots that see the familiar battling formula merged with other franchises. Based of the anime series, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 is just such a blend, and after two successful games last generation, this third game in the series is heading to PS4, PS3, PS Vita and PC on August 28th in Europe and other EMEA territories.
I’ll not pretend to know what’s going on in that trailer above – it all looks rather manic – but I do know a good special edition when I see one, and Pirate Warriors 3 will get a Doflamingo Edition, replete with a 16cm tall statue of the series’ villain, that’s exclusive to Amazon. That’s a very warm looking coat he’s wearing.
