The Swapper Clones Itself Onto Xbox One Next Week

Curve Digital have announced today that they’re bringing Facepalm Games’ critically acclaimed game, The Swapper, to Xbox One next week on June 5th.

First released on PC back in 2013 then onto PS4, PS3, PS Vita and Wii U last year, The Swapper garnered critical accalim from many corners for its dark and atmospheric scenery and the hand-crafted and animated visuals. The game centres around the exploration of a desolate space station, trying to unravel what’s going on while also making use of a cloning device in order to duplicate yourself, reach otherwise inaccessible areas and solve puzzles.

Our review from the PlayStation release concluded, “Facepalm Games have created something special with The Swapper […] The unique cloning abilities of the mysterious Swapper device pave the way for some challenging puzzle designs and a gripping story, that sci-fi fans will no doubt love. However, you can’t help but feel that it’s all over far too soon.”
